I could not find a post about sick dogs. Our almost 11 yr old Chiweenie dog not acting right.
GS went to pick him up and helped several times. He has not moved out of his bed since 6am. No interest in going outside. Won't even have a bite of weenie from lunch.
The vet office said to take him to the hospital...hospital can't see him til Thursday! We will keep eye on him, but something isn't right.

I hope he's OK, Gloria. Is he drinking water? Sometimes when they have a tummy bug they refuse to eat, but they need the water.

You can try giving him water with an eyedropper, maybe ? It takes a while, but will get some liquid in him. I can’t imagine that you ver office won’t let you just bring him in when he is that sick !
Prayers for your sick little Radar, Gloria, and hugs for you......

Gloria, I'm so sorry. I know how hard it is to see our loved ones suffer like that. Was he OK up until then?

Might have had a heart attack or a stroke if he can’t move. It is sounding like something pretty serious. What if you just load him up and take him to the vet ? Surely they can’t refuse to see him if you are there ?
If you have a pain pill of some kind, you can maybe dissolve it, and give it to him in an eyedropper, and it will at least help to alleviate his pain until you can get him to the vet .
