Over the world there are many names for carbonated soft drinks and from many base materials. Barley, Coco nut you name it.

Here in our home it's diet Pepsi for she and ... well several choices for his self. Sprite to Mountain dew or a cola. I like coconut or fruit flavored soft drinks too. Even a Ginger Ale will meet my need.
Water is to avoid unless taking a pill. There are varied amounts of fluid recommended/day. I drink my share of coffee too. I guess it all adds up and so long as you drink BEFORE you're thirsty I guess that will fill your bodies needs.:p

I only drink water and coffee...I haven't had a coke or Pepsi diet or regular in many many years. I never really did drink coke or Pepsi, I always drank Fresca then.

My morning "coffee" years ago used to be a regular Coke...until I had my gall bladder out. After that I could never drink a coke again. However I can drink coffee now...and I have one cup (or mug) a day. Water is my mainstay. I can have a sip or two of tea, gingerale, or cranberry apple juice at times. But over doing any of these other drinks will tear up my digestion real fast. So it's mainly one cup of coffee a day and water for me. Sometimes I miss my coke with lots of ice...but a girl's gotta do what a girl's got to do! :p

I mostly just drink water with lemon in it, and now the lemonade that I made with fresh lemons in the Vitamix, and then I add lots and lots of ice to that.
I stopped drinking sweetened pop many years ago, ;but I do still drink sugar-free pop sometimes. Now that I have read how bad even that is supposed to be for my health, I seldom even drink that anymore. If we go out for a meal, or have a pizza at home, then I will sometimes have a diet pop with that.
I really like Fresca, too, and I don't know why the stores do not carry more of it. Kroger has their own soda brand, and they make the grapefruit flavor; but they are usually out of it when I have looked for some.

Fresca was one of the beverages sweetened with Cyclamate; the other big one was Tab. I enjoyed both, and drank the Tab to excess, since it was available in 16 oz. screw-top glass bottles, suitable for re-use for my home-made beer!

Mostly coffee, although there are times when I'll drink a lot of water before getting sick of it again. Sometimes I'll drink hot tea, but that's more of a winter thing. I like ginger beer and Moxie but I've been trying not to drink too much of that sort of thing. There is a cherry juice that I really like, called Cheribundi, but that's too expensive to drink every day.

You don't have to drink a lot of water, fluids is all you need
So coffee, tea, smoothies even veg and fruit that contains water will suffice our daily intake :)

I still drink a few bottles of water because I only drink about 2 cups of coffee...no tea or smoothies.

Tea , coffee , sometimes a coke....we drink more ice tea than anything else in the summer.
Sodas are like many other no no things....to be had on occasion...not all day.

I'm also not saying I haven't had a drop of Diet Coke in 9 years, I probably have but it's very rare.

I can recall just buying a bottle when I'm at the checkout of a store, but mainly for the caffeine. I don't like carbonated drinks anymore.

I used to like Tab when it first came out, back when it was about the only diet soft drink around, but I tried some about a year ago and didn't like it so much.

Twigs for breakfast for fiber :)..then the rest of the day...some protein, veggies, a little fruit and an outshine bar for a treat or yogurt.

So far today I had the twigs and for lunch had an omelet with spinach, Swiss cheese and a tbs of real bacon bits.

And as I type this I'm sucking on a coconut water outshine bar....yummy.

    Dinner...who knows?

I eat enough to not lose or gain weight, just stay where I am in a healthy way....works for me.

I have a little binge once in awhile but not often so no harm. :)

I've said this before but I'm saying it again, I only drink Filtered water, nothing else.

First thing in the morning I filter a cup or two of water through some coffee grounds. With breakfast I'll sometimes have some water that was filtered through an orange. With lunch sometimes I'll have a glass of water that was filtered through some tea leaves, but more often I'll have water that was filtered through a cow.
In the evening nothing relaxes me better than a glass of water that has been filtered through some grapes.

I drank my share of Coke and other brands till I learned drinking pop/soda closed to eating destroys the stomach acid so you could not get the nutrition out of what you just ate. You could get the calories and sugar but things like vitamin A and others is hard.

Bobby has these drink mixes that are for before working out and then some for after working out that are supposed to help your muscles recuperate from the weight-lifting and exercises.
He usually has some pink stuff (actually kind of pinkish orange) and it looks like he has high-octane gasoline in his gallon jug that he takes along to the fitness center every day.
Well, he ran out of the pink stuff, and the new kind he got is kind of bluish and called "Ocean Breeze" flavor. (What in the world does ocean breeze have to do with flavor anyway ? ) But the new stuff is sweet and kind of like bubble gum maybe; so not as tasty as what he is used to drinking .
I thought it might be okay mixed with lemon; so I chopped up a couple lemons and a lime or two, and peeled a cucumber and added a chunk of ginger , and put it all in the Vitamix with a quart of Bobby's left over after-workout mix.
It actually ended up tasting pretty good, and it is healthy to drink, too. The color is a nice bluish-green; so it works for a limeade.

I am always concerned about the use of artificial colorants in foods and drinks, and am appalled at the wide variety of them in the stores aimed directly at children.

Pepsi was my choice for water back in the day until I got an awful bladder infection. I was told to stop or cut down on how much Pepsi I was drinking or get ready for another bout with in. The pain I went through up until I took my meds was enough to cut back big time on Pepsi. Then I found out just how much sugar it contains which contributed to weight gain over the scale hanging in the exam room, 20 pounds. Water and walking brought my weight back down and I felt so much better.

Now a days it's tea, mostly black, some herbal but the green tea I couldn't get use to.

When it comes to drinking water I just have a taste for it. I've always rebelled the 'recommended' amount of water because it felt like I was being told what to do.

I feel good when I drink a lot of water but it's boring so I am almost never thirsty for water. It helps to put some lemon in it.

I seldom drank water but now I have so many pills to take it seems I'm drinking it every time I turn around.
