Who here were devotees of 60s and 70s television. I for one was.. every week I would sit down and watch the latest episodes of Columbo, Magnum PI, Hawaii 50, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits and I always got a nitely chuckle out of I Dream of Jeannie. Several years ago I found I had time on my hands when recuperating from an illness so decided to go on a tv nostalgia trip. I scoured the net for and even downloaded..shsshh no blabbing now.. copies of these fave retro programs. Some I could watch again.. while others like Magnum PI I found lame. I only sat thru a few Columbo episodes as the dishevelled sleuth had dated in my eyes. I watched the entire 156 episodes of The Twilight Zone and loved it all over again.. likewise with Hawaii 50, The Outer Limits and The Night Gallery. Every now and then I will revisit these gems of television from my youth

I'm assuming you would have access to the same streaming channels as in America, I think Crackle and Popcornflix are a couple of the more popular retro channels. Happy watching!

Dont have Crackle and most of Popcornflix does no appeal to me. No I have my own personal library. Watch whatever I want whenever I want. Did you use to watch any of those programs above?

I was never a big fan of Columbo. To me, he always came across as smug. I never liked Sherlock Holmes for the same reason. I was a big fan of Twilight Zone. I think because it had some different twists. I never knew what to expect next. I can't remember The Outer Limits.

I liked watching Hawaii 50 but not because of the story.

I was just the opposite about Columbo. When it aired I didn't care for him, but now I like him.

Didn't catch the patterns early on. Didn't notice his apparent bumbling was his "thing" to throw people off guard. No pretenses. I've watched all the reruns, many more than once.

Yes the bizarre plots and twists are what made TZ so good. Most were also written by the brilliant Rod Serling.
The Outer Limits was a sci fi anthology.. perhaps this will tweak the memory.. "There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission".

When I was young, I found Outer Limits to be terrifying, but now not so much...kinda hokey.

I do have a vague memory of that quote but, for the life of me, I can't remember the program. Maybe I'll have to look for an episode on YouTube.
