You forgot to mention propaganda, disinformation, and NLP-based spin doctoring, all of which are likely the most effective and widespread form of mind control/social control to date....not counting one-on-one classical brainwashing. From what I've seen, the government is financing research into mind reading machines, so would not doubt mind control is the summum bonum....it's all about them baby steps. Once you uncover them tracks, you can foresee where the trail is headed.
