I'm relaxing with a cup of hot tea. One of my on-again, off-again favorites. It's a black tea, wearing a Twinning label, Lapsang Souchong, a smoky tea. Three minutes of steeping is recommended but I like it weaker at two. Leaves sort of a silky lining in your mouth. I use a mere touch of sweetner. I like the pine wood smoke flavor, it does something for my resolve, like a gentle kick in the pants when you need it. I wish I could invite you over and you could come.
I'd love to share a cuppa with you Bill as long as you play a tune on harmonica for me Something else I tried playing - and failed
How very nice to have you as guest. Well, I don't play classical nor jazz although I have a fondness for much of both. But that leaves a whole array of your like and mine. It would be with pleasure to show off my skills @Patsy Faye
Tea is my wife, not me. Well, that is unless it's iced tea in the summer, sometimes. Relaxation Time..........that would be us at the range, on our boat or at a theater watching a movie with a tube of butter/salt popcorn and a Coke.
Let me lay out a few considerations for your listening pleasure. First a harmonica doesn't go down well by itself, seldom, except on blues. It does go well with other instruments. The guitar is its sole mate. As long as a harmonica is in tune with the music it will sound good. When there's no other music and you're playing solo it's helpful for a listener to close her eyes and call up a heavy dose of imagination. Imagine your favorite musicians playing in the background and we'lI play, "I Did It My Way." Otherwise you'll keep wondering, whn will this torture end.
Ha ha - I've a good imagination especially when it comes to music I am such a good singer - in my head
Then no doubt you would enjoy my tea, for I have a variety, and my harmonica. Over small things great friendships have developed. Welcome.
