Nothing like the aroma of clover. Fresh and clean.

Wow, what a job @Peter Renfro . Isn't there a way to install a cleanout or whatever you call that pipe thing?

I don't really know. Never seen one around here. Maybe due to winter freezing conditions? This is only the second time in 22 years that we have had it done. 15 minutes on the tractor and another twenty of shovel work. Come 2030 when it is time again, well that's why I have grandchildren!

Nope Nope not at all! Every second of it is sweaty dirty back breaking work! If the Missus keeps on believing that, I'll be ok.;);)

Thank You. I own 13 but rent about ten. Not enough land to be useful, but I get a deer and sometimes a turkey each year.

I cannot help but look at all that grass with the trees and I guess a lake or pond in the rear, but that it evokes the child in me. I loved playing on something like this for hours.

Our yucca plant just gets taller each year, and it has just bloomed for this year. The white spire of blossoms is beautiful, but the leaves are sharp as knives.

@Yvonne Smith I've seen these all around the city but didn't know the name of them. A beautiful plant.

If you're going to do all of that work anyway, why not burn the brush instead of stacking it next door? Just wondering. How many years did you have the sound of the trains coming through the windows? Did it soothe you or drive you mad? I've got a tree you can cut down. I'm thinking about it anyway. It's a beautiful blue spruce that was planted way to close to the home and fenceline and now has grown way to big to know it's place. I love it but it shouldn't have been planted that close. I'm looking forward to seeing your pics and progress. @Ken Anderson

Sorry Ken, I'm still trying to find my way around old posts and new posts. I should have kept browsing through more posts before I asked where the pics were. Sorry! @Ken Anderson
