Through a FOIA request on the George W. Bush Memorial Library, it has been revealed that President Bush had enacted a Presidential Emergency Action Document giving himself the power to sever access to the Internet for American citizens, businesses, and organizations if he considered it to be an emergent necessity.

There are all sorts of EOs like this out there. During Obama's presidency, although there already was an emergency plan ready, It was stated that the gov't could take everything we had, if an emergency of such necessity befell us. Didn't state what would be covered by such an emergency as the previous plan did (1940's?).
Today I was watching a youtube put out by CBS about minority gun groups. It was interesting. Blacks, hispanics...finally realizing that the police and gov't were not there to protect them so they need to help defend themselves. They even mentioned that the Democratic party needed them to defeat Trump and since then, they have received nothing from the Democrats. Both parties do not help them.
It seems this is the perfect time to come together--over guns and to flush the present gov't with votes, The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
They also see that the guns are needed to defend from the gov't--the powerful.

Don't you love it when a politician can write a decree to give himself more power?

Pretenses are a waste of energy and contribute to climate changes...we must stop them at once.

ps: The Bushes were no friends of this nation.

Uh-huh. We have separation of powers unless there's something that the president really wants to do, in which case he can give himself the power.

The Supreme Court needs to sit down and define the differences between law and regulation.
The President is only supposed to be able to write regulations as it applies to existing laws but it’s pretty obvious that that’s not what has been happening.

Congress has been forcing the Supreme Court and the Executive Branch to make law which is not their job. The Supreme Court interprets the Constitutionality of a proposed law and the Executive Branch enforces law or at least that’s the way it is supposed to be.

Bush was a terrible President. Everyone can thank him for that illegal patriot act, why everyone that flies continue to fly is beyond me. The first Gulf war was all about saving Bush seniors businesses in Kuwait and nothing more. Look at the billions spent with a huge portion going into his coffers. Finally you have to agree Bush Jr got preferential treatment during the Vietnam war and special entrance to the air national guard. It was an act of cowardice for sure. I simply have no respect for him, at least his father did his part in WWII before he fell in with the rest of the thieves in congress and our senate.

As I understand it, @Bobby Cole EOs are different than regulations are different from laws. In recent years, they have all gotten very mixed up, as Congress has delegated most of their power to the Executive Branch and the Judicial Branch has refused to review it, which is the basis of the Chevron Decision which "true" Conservatives want over turned. The entire setup is part of the "Progressive Agenda", which wants all decision-making taken out of the hands of the electorate and elected representatives and put into the hands of so-called "experts" like Fauci and Buttigieg. In the Chevron Decision, the Supreme Court has essentially removed itself from the process by declaring that they are not "qualified experts" in most areas, thus are unable to review the constitutionality of most regulations. It was called to national attention when the latest Biden nominee to the court declared she could not determine what a woman was, as she was not a biologist. Most did not realize she was referring to the Chevron Decision.
