I've been living in Maine since 2000, and I've only been to a few of these. I have seen Stephen King's house because that's just in Bangor, although I don't remember it looking quite as impressive as it does in the picture. I've been to Rangeley, but never noticed the sign. I have bought nuts at Perry's Nut House. Most of these are in southern and coastal Maine, which is not the part of the state that I generally inhabit. Far too many tourists for my tastes.
