Picture upload server is not working. Please fix. Thanks! Half the time the "Upload a File" box appears, when you click on the attachment icon, half the time it doesn't.
I've had some general slowness, including the Upload a File feature. I sometimes get the "In Process" bars on the top of the screen as whatever I'm trying to bring up this feature. It also happens when I try to save a comment Edit or a comment Reply. Once this comes up... ...I can Browse for my file/Upload my file, and embed the Full Image without any problems or delays. Again, I think this is transient general site slowness and not a specific feature problem.
See??????? Those are supposed to be dogs!!!!!! Seriously, I get the "Scrolling Status Bars" up top sometimes when I'm trying to post or search or upload or do anything else interactive here. I'll go on others sites to test my internet connection, and it's fine. Of course, every internet site has different paths back to each computer, so a "slow site" might just be one choke point along the way. And that slowness never lasts longer than a couple of minutes...it's not an "all morning" or an "all afternoon" thing. And it's a general slowness, not a feature-specific thing for me. But when it does happen, it seems to happen in clusters.
Since it's not doing it to me now, I can only guess that the server might have been under a DDOS attack at the time. Since these attacks are intended to use up the server's resource, I suppose it could also affect the ability to upload images, which are resource-intensive. I'm not saying there wasn't a problem, as there clearly was, only that I don't know what the problem was.
