Apparently Nancy Pelosi is using a different Bible than many. Her favorite Bible verse isn't in the Bible; she just made it up, I guess. https://slate.com/human-interest/2019/02/nancy-pelosi-bible-quote-minister-needs.html
Never saw any politician not eventually pander to the great unwashed, excuse me, the people, using religion. Never. Any politician. So she made a mistake, so what. She's not a theologian. Just as "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel," so is religion. She's no better or worse than any other politician in this regard.
Trump was pilloried because he referred to the second letter to the Corinthians as "Two Corinthians" rather than as "Second Corinthians," as is more commonly used, so I don't mind Democrats being held to the same rules. In Trump's case, it is generally labeled as 2 Corinthians.
Nancy's "quote": “To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.” It seems to be a paraphrase of Proverbs 14:31, which switches the order of the two main ideas and focuses specifically on the poor: “Those who oppress the poor insult their Maker, but those who are kind to the needy honor him.” The Message Bible reads: Proverbs 14:31 31 You insult your Maker when you exploit the powerless; when you’re kind to the poor, you honor God. Her's is not exactly a "quote". I think we should cut her a little slack, here.
Fake Bible quotes go well with her fake news and her fake face. How about some real Bible quotes that explain why Trump couldn't work with Pelosi. It is in the Bible folks so pay attention. Deuteronomy 22:10 Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.
Interesting tidbit Don. Though the verse isn't in the Bible, it is actually a worthy proverb. I find her hypocritical in saying it though as she leads the way in killing millions of innocent babies via abortion. If she read or respected the Bible at all, she'd know that they're God's creatures just as much as the illegal aliens she staunchly defends.
