    Ha ha !
Well I can't hear 'Laurel' at all - no L at the beginning and a definite Y at the end = Yanny
    :p

I don't yield to Politifact on political matters because they are quite biased, but they cover the Laural-Yanny issue quite well, I think. By the way, I hear "Laurel" and can't imagine how anyone could hear "Yanny."

I would say that if you took the value of the Laurel/Yanny discussion and added 79 cents, the total value would be 79 cents.

First OMG what a gorgeous doggie! Love it when you can get a yawn picture.

This was mentioned repeatedly on a news talk program yesterday. I didn't know what they were talking about. I heard Laurel.

Okay, Folks........maybe we can solve this riddle by simply reading the word. What is your opinion, does this say Yanny or Laurel ?

Very clever Yvonne :) I see both
I've also heard both, so I presume they did two versions, as both are as clear as day
Don't know what its all about though, but sure got people talking :p

Dunno. I Googled it and was then directed to Youtube which played an audio whilst producing pictures of the words laurel and yanny.
I didn’t hear either one in the audio because it sounded like “yerrie” even though I was visually prompted to make a choice between the aforementioned words.

So, now that I am so totally disqualified, what the heck am I missing here? Did someone assasinate someone called yanny and it was supposed to be laurel or perhaps the brand name of a spread to go on toast?
Or, since royalty is in the news, the name of a newly born child or perhaps a new pet for the new princess?

Me thinks I need another cup of coffee which is probably a much more fitting thing to try to think about at this hour on a Sunday morning.
