Thank you all very much for the warm welcome.. Not much to tell about me. I'm 67 years old.. and I have two grown sons and three grandkids. They are both married and live in suburbs of Chicago. I have been married to the same wonderful man for 49 years!! I live in a small Northwestern, Illinois town called Freeport.. in Stephenson County... also known as "Pretzel City" because of the large German population here. In fact the mascot of the High school is a pretzel. I have recently retired but when I worked I was in the billing department of the local hospital. I love animals and have lots of dogs and cats.. I love to cook... so that is where my last name came from. I also garden... both veggies and flowers.. That's about all I can think of off the top of my head.
