Mother Nature's pets are all the creatures we see. My most favorite are our feathered friends. She's made them as Hummingbird jewels, as large as The majestic Emu. When i came to live on the farm, was pretty much a clean slate, when i started putting in trees, shrubs, flowers, bearing fruits, seeds and shelter. My rewards started to arrive. Birds of all different kinds, almost seemed like the word was out...OPEN to ALL. They made me the happiest ever, thank you Mother Nature. Of course that came with a great sharing lesson, when the strawberries, raspberries, cherries, were ripe, guess it was first come, first serve. that was okay, there was lots to go around, wasn't too hard to share considering the return i was able to enjoy.

@Micki Pembroke , I, too, am a bird lover. Take a look at my "My birds" thread in Photos and Videos.

Bird lover here also, they have the ability to make us happy at the sheer sight of them, besides the tunes these

A few years back, we watched a documentary on China. The poor souls were being pushed out from their land of
generations to be put in high rise blocks in the city.
We watched as they spoke of this change to their lifestyle, then - in the next scene were many Chinese men riding
bicycles to the park and I noticed a covered object on the front of each bike. As they parked, they lifted the covering
to reveal a bird cage - they then attached the cages to the trees and stood smiling, gazing up at their birds, who were busy chirping
and singing. They did this ritual each day.
It was a wondrous sight to me, I loved these men for considering their beloved birds.
