Well, I’ve waited for about an hour and am still waiting. For what? For the innocent to be portrayed as an act of racism. It goes like this. Here in Huntsville, Alabama, our local animal shelter is trying to capitalize on Halloween by cutting the price on black cats and mostly black dogs to $5.00. Sounds innocent right? This being Alabama with a distinct background of racism and viewing the present climate of those who watch for anything that might be remotely racist behind every bush even if it’s totally idiotic, do turn your intelligence level down a few notches and allow your imagination to run wild. Like I wrote…..I’m waiting. Some Karen is going to go in and try to buy an “other than black” cat and get miffed if they can’t get the sale price and scream that on a subconscious level that the sale is racist.
Love the new avatar and haircut! Very nice! No word from Frank but his name hasn't appeared on his area's obituary list or any other that I can find. I suspect he is still hanging in there. He had kidney failure requiring dialysis for life. A few weeks ago I had a friend that suffered kidney failure and needed dialysis. She refused and died a few days later.
