Really comes in handy;) I do that on my phone as well, but more so with books I'm reading. It has a Nook App on it;)

Are you in LTE? Doesn't that use too much data? I'm always afraid to even play my game in LTE.

I have a laptop I get my Netflix on, plus I now get Eipix free with my Charter service. Netflix is worth having though because of all the tv shows I like on it. I don't usually watch on my laptop though. One HDMI cord does the trick. I just plug it into my bigscreen, well, 32 inch, and then I see all my shows on the TV. I don't get, or need cable, just use Charters Wifi.

Sometimes I'll set the laptop up while I'm cooking and watch a quick episode of Frazier or something, but other than that, I just like to watch it on a larger screen.

What's LTE Chrissy? Do you have wifi with limited Data? I have it with Charter, and use all my devices with their service, including my phone when I am at home. I only get 2 gb on my phone, but using the wifi, I can make all my calls, which I usually do anyway, at home. Save the 2 gb for when I'm out and about.

edited: Oops, I see what you are saying, when you are out and about;) I play a game, like that safari game where you match up the little tiles? I mean if I'm at the doc or something.

Sorry..what's LTE?... Yes it uses a lot of Data if you're watching tv on the iphone while out and about...but otherwise you can hook up to the nearest wi-fi network

It's what 3G used to be but better I think. When I'm out I'm not connected to my wireless.

Yeah, I didn't read your comment well enough Chrissy;) or just wasn't thinking, doi, still on my first cup of coffee;)

I rarely even look at my phone when I'm out. Guess I never got really hooked on it, like the texting or whatever. I take it with me so I can call if I need help, but other than that, I don't use it. On rare occasions when I am in the mood, I'll call one of my friends back in Oregon and yack while I walk;)

Mine is still a 3G, Moto E. It works well enough for me. I wanted 4G but they didn't have a phone available at the time. I bought mine at Walmart for 79 dollars. Then I got hooked up with Total Wireless which has been outstanding for my 35 a month.

Good to see you here Holly;) Denise

What's neat here in the US, not sure if you have it this way in UK Holly, but like through Walmart, there all kinds of no-contract deals. My phone, for example (Total Wireless service) works off of Verizon Towers. So I get the same reception. I don't know how they manage all that, but I do know the biggies have "no contract" deals as well.

I couldn't afford to get a contract type until I had my retirement pay coming in. But by then, I had already bought a no-contract type, and it works so well why fix it, lol;)

You have a lot of apps, did you add those, or are those the standard ones? Do you use Pandora?? I love that App. I have it on my laptop too, with a ton of playlists I've saved, LOL!
