Funnily enough as I toddler I used to wander into my Dad's shop and eat the dog biscuits, which we sold loose by the lb, they were on a low shelf behind the counter, and all the different colours looked tempting, and I recall liking the black charcoal ones :rolleyes:

I left a pot of broccoli on the stove and went out in the yard for a minute....which stretched into a LOT of minutes. Guys and gals, don't ever burn broccoli, the smell defies description, it is so foul! The pan was so black that after scrubbing hard several times with various scrubbers and abrasives, I ended up throwing it away.

I worked with a lady whose husband poured some Grand Marnier into a snifter with a silver edge around the rim, then put it in the MICROWAVE to warm it a little and sure enough, the metal sparked, ignited the liquor the snifter blew up and caused a fire. The funny part is the guy was a firefighter!
