Here's an excerpt from a long poem by my favorite poet, Britain's Rudyard Kipling:

"When the Himalayan peasant meets the He-Bear in his pride,
He shouts to scare the monster, who will often turn aside.
But the She-Bear thus accosted rends the peasant tooth and nail.
For the Female of the species is more deadly than the Male."

From "The Female Of The Species" (First of 13 stanzas)

I don't believe @Bess Barber will need any why and how;):D

    Here is the last verse

And Man knows it! Knows, moreover, that the Woman that God gave him
Must command but may not govern—shall enthral but not enslave him.
And She knows, because She warns him, and Her instincts never fail,
That the Female of Her Species is more deadly than the Male.

A Hearty Huzzah to you, Lady Faye!

    Are you a Kipling admirer?

A College boy was chatting with a Coed: "Do you like Kipling?" he asked, "I don't know, you naughty boy...I never Kippled!" she replied.

    Yes, I am a Kipling fan. I haven't read
much since my 20's, but my mother
and father both recited poetry. My mother
loved Kipling and my dad Poe.

My mother's favorite was Kipling's "IF."

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
    But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

Girl Kippered Kipling for the Forum

    By Faye Fox

When the admin meets the he poster in his pride,
He post to scare the monster, who will often turn aside.
But the she poster thus accosted rends the admin tooth and nail.
For the female of the forum is tougher than the male.

When he with lurking eyes sees the careless post of man,
He will sometimes glance sideways and avoid it if he can.
But the she moderator makes no such motion and her eyes on the screen trail.
For the female of the forum is more intense than the male.

When the early male members preached of freedom from the laws,
They prayed to be delivered from the vengeance of female jaws.
’Twas the women, not the man, turned those stark dreamers pale.
For the female of the forum is quicker than the male.

Man’s timid fingers are itching with the things he must not say,
    For the she that came to tag him isn’t his to drive away;
But when she meets with he, after reading his thread trail
The female of the species is more cunning than the male.

Man, dominant in some relations, but lacking forum wise,
Man propounds negotiations, females refuse the compromise.
Very rarely will he squarely push the logic of a roast
To its ultimate conclusion in unmitigated post.

So it comes that forum man as he gathers his buddies to confer
With his manly post on forum, try not female aggravation stir
Where, at war with keys and mouse, he uplifts his erring hands
As some gesture of abstract justice, which no woman understands.

And man knows it! Knows, moreover, that the woman that follows him
Must command, but he will not give her likes, she shall entertain and enslave him.
And she knows, because she warns him, and her instincts never fail,
That the female of the forum is more savvy than the male.

I have had several blogs and webpages and I couldn't afford to push them enough for any viewership. That isn't my poem, just my re-writing Kipling to our advantage. Just my humor that many don't appreciate. Thanks for liking it!

I wish it was my poem, but the structure is that of Kipling's "Female of the Species" and all I did
was change words to apply it to the forum in jest. My own poetry is rather lame and mostly
    cowboy poetry.
