The NDAA is written so that the government can take what you have in times of emergency. Welllll, now you can register your garden with the government. Another thing they will be able to control. You may register now but will we have to eventually?

Exactly why they want you to register your garden...so they can take your stuff as was done when the Soviet Union collapsed. I guess we are automatically registered as we have an agricultural business license because we sell plants and produce. I would never register a private garden however. What you grow for personal consumption in not the government's business. I believe anything you can produce onsite for personal consumption that does not require a technical processing should be legal and not the government's concern.

Remember in 2008 1000s of truckers were getting up a convoy to go to the border and stop un-inspected dangerous Mexican simi trucks from coming in that were killing truckers and taking their jobs? We joined one and the corporations told them protest and lose your jobs. They chose security over liberty, and now they have basically lost both!
I don't think they'd need a national registry for that since that will be done locally by people who know who has gardens and other stuff that they want. They will simply empower those who didn't plan to take stuff from those who did. Yes, anyone who doesn't have a garden will turn in anyone who does.
Although one of our neighbors said she will share till its all gone. She is always canning and storing. Of course they are old and handicapped now so thye may be less 'brave'.
I have offered areas of gardens to people. They come they plant--they don't come back to weed. Not a lot of produce.
That was what was reported out of Russia after the fall. People had to stand 24-hour guard over their gardens to keep their neighbors from stealing everything. I guess here they want all the stealing to be done by the government.
