:oops:We've grown accustomed to eating bitter melon. It can be pricey in supermarkets. Can you tell me if bitter melon can be raise in pots? Is bitter melon easy to raise and care for?

We used to have that from the leftover seeds that grow in the backyard's planter box. It is easy to grow and in a matter of 2 months, I guess, the small crawler will bear flowers. When the bitter melon has developed lots of young leaves, we would cook the mung bean dish, one of our favorites. It is similar to chili beans that has a sauce but not spicy. And instead of beef, mung beans dish has pork for the flavoring. When cooked, the leaves of bitter melon is added. It gives a fresh flavor to the soup of the mung beans dish.

We don't have bitter melon in the recent years because of the pests. Our last bitter melon did not bear even one good fruit because of the incessant attacks of insect.
