We're going to play Alabama this month. Alabama is the strongest, biggest, meanest team in college football. We might as well be playing the Green Bay Packers or that professional team up in New England somewhere. Alabama is going to cut us up, chew on us for two hours and spit us out in little pieces up and down the field. Their coach is the best cach since Bear Bryant. It will be so bad we may can't field a team next year. Pray for us, not for us to win, but that we don't all wind up in the hospital down there in Miami. We may get hit on the head with a sack of oranges. We're just a small town college team. Our coach is new, head coach barely two seasons, fom a little town in west Texas, Muleshoe who has a statue of a mule coming into their town. What else is in Muleshoe. They've got a railroad track, a little depot, and a couple of cafes. One a good one. I've eaten a hundred meals in it I suppose. Oh, and Muleshoe has a high school football team. Are they any good? I don't know, I've been gone from the vicinity a while. I'm a Okie now and fearful my little college team is about to be educated in how to play the game. Have you all heard of Alabama?
