I would love to have a 1974 Opel Station wagon.... blue. But I wasn't born in 74. I was driving by then.

I don't like any of the cars from the 50's to big for me.

Not my birth year but I think this is the best looking car I ever saw. Long low and sleek.

A hypothetical car is never "too big". Which car from the 50's would you pick?

Sorry to hear that you have remained "Cordless" all these years.

This one probably had the 425 nail head engine. It was the start of true muscle cars even if it were the heavy car. You could order a two 4 barrel carburetors setup with factory manifold. Worth a fortune today if you could find one. My friend I worked with put same engine in a 68 Ford Ranchero. He drove back and fourth to Las Vegas 65 miles one way and said the gas mileage was great until you got the second carb kicked in. At that point no one would be passing you. My cousin bought a New Leman s and put a ton of miles and years on it, he went to trade it in on the new Olds front wheel drive car in 72.

They only offered him 1500 trade and he turned it down and came home, later that evening we had a terrible storm with high winds and hail and it just totally destroyed his Lemans. We all had severe damage to our cars, they all looked like someone walked around them with a ball peen hammer. Needless to say he could not trade the car, all the cars on the north side of Houston at the dealers sitting outside were total-led.

Anyone else? Don't cheat and just find a nice car - find one in your birth year.
