Four years ago when I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis my Rheumatologist had me taking this drug. I took it daily for 18 months and he had me discontinue. The drug is also called Plaquenil.
I don't understand the bruhaha in the press about the president taking that stuff. Good grief, who cares.
None at all. It was prescribed to slow down the progression of my Rheumatoid Arthritis and it did just that.
Trouble with the FDA is they OK drugs like Vioxx and Thalidomide but refused to check out good medicine. Like by their rules only a drug can use the term cure. If you said water will cure dehydration the FDA would march in and put you out of business.

Nothing wrong with taking a drug as prescribed.I am reading though,that with trumps preexisting conditions, weight and age mainly, that most doctors would not prescribe it. I am wondering if he is actually taking it and not a placebo. Supposedly if the man child does not get what he wants, he becomes quite difficult to deal with. Is it possible that the medico is giving him sugar just to appease him?
