A friend of mine worked as a sub-editor for many years. I don't think she'd have lasted very long in the job if she'd let beauties like that through.
Honestly, the kids right now aren't being taught or aren't quick enough to read, write, fix things, cook things, nothing they'll need. My daughter is in college right now. And some of the things I have seen other kids post on her page are disgusting. Are's instead of ours, new insted of knew, know instead of now, still instead of steal. And the list goes on and on. BALTKAFSWBTIWWHTGAJ. (But at least they know acronyms for some words because that is what will help them get a job.)
