Punk memorabilia said to be worth £5m ($6m) has been torched in the middle of the River Thames. Joe Corre, the son of Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren and fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood, burnt the items on the 40th anniversary of the Sex Pistols debut single. LOL...well tbf they were and are, all a bunch of nutters...and egomaniacs....so I say toodleooo...I always hated Punk anyway, so for me it's good riddance... although by their very actions to destroy the memorabilia I fear they may cause a resurgence of it... arrgggh!!!
Terry ! @Terry Page ! It is great to see you here again, and I love the new avatar . So, now I have to confess........ I have been remiss in my kefir-making, Terry. I think that I just had so much of it that i got tired of it, and then stopped making it altogether and let all of my poor little kefir grains die. I have been thinking that I will get more grains, or maybe just use the starter packets again, and just not make as much this time. What great and wonderful places have you been traveling to lately ? I love your pictures and stories, and hoping you will share some with us again. I have heard of the Sex Pistols, but that is about it, and it sounds like those of you who do know about them are not sad to see them burn the memorabilia. Just the thought that they would choose to literally torch and burn items that could be sold for millions of dollars seems strange to me.
I have rest periods from kefir Yvonne, I don't feel you need it continuously, it gives me an irritable bladder anyway if I drink too much I do carry some grains with me to and from Russia, where I am at the moment until Christmas. These days I only spend about 5 months a year in the UK the rest of the time is spent with Lisa in Russia, or travelling together in Asia on various holidays/vacations, We are going to South India (Kerala & Tamil Nadu) in January/February
