I was looking at a recipe earlier that was an Italian dessert where you make espresso and pour it over ice cream, then top it with whipped cream. It sounded delicious, but I don't have an espresso maker, so I looked around for a way to make it with a french press, which I do have several of, and found one. If you have another type of coffeemaker but not a french press, I'm sure you could find ideas on how to do that, as well.
