Maybe all of itwoudget on my nerves, don't know but the closest thing I have discovered as pure bliss, is when the television is shut off, and there is only silence.

Funny @Bobby Cole , we call that noise from cars ''the boom boom'' too... it's typically onomatopoeic isn't it?

    Yup.
Even if there are some words in the background, the dominate bass booms, thuds, drones, and even @Gloria Mitchell’s youbanglethumps. I’m sure there are other verbalizations that might fit for a description but at any rate, the sound is irritating at best.

Waiting in a line and the person next to you is HUMMING some ridiculous TV theme song from the 60's, very loud.

    Wait a minute... that's ME!

    Never mind.

Best played whilst waiting in a line. Do beware, there is one off color word but other than that I found this hilarious!

I guess I am the opposite to impatient, and wander through life in a bit of a dream.......a sort of state of bliss......BUT ...... if I am overtired or in a hurry for some reason, all the irritable traits situations above materialise, people fumbling around in a queue especially, and driving slowly in the car in front , although probably adhering to the speed limit, ;) I try and reason with myself, but it never really works.....

LOLO I have not listen to him in a long time Pinette. That was good. We rarely eat out, so do have difficulty deciding what to order. However,
i try now to look up on my phone first and then decide. I did have me sausage biscuit this morning , but that was an easy one:)

Adding to my previous post...... crying ( not actual babies), or misbehaving children in the grocery store.
People who obviously have not looked in the mirror before they left home.
People who want to change names of everything in America because of something or someone did a hundred years ago:mad:
People who are too dumb to realize the phone number you called- its on voice mail you idiot ..why are you asking it questions;)
News articles..the headlines say one thing...the story totally different ..or blown out of portion.
Men who refuse to Point South instead of North in the toilet.. thank goodness not me hubby:)
this is enough.. beginning to sound like a bore and grouch :D

I really need to help you qualify the toilet / north / south peeve.
Our donniker in on the west side of the room but 99.9% of the time I am pointing east when I use it. But then, for the last few years I have gotten in the habit of simply sitting down 99.9% of the time and allowing whatever happens to happen.

My list would also be longer but now being a retiree what I appreciate most is exclusivity. So crowds of any kind are nerve-racking:
-tailbacks on the highway, crowds in the city, at the doctor's, in shops, at the lakeside, in restaurants, at events of any kind, etc.
-radio tosh and twaddle forcing me to keep searching for another station
-news and documentaries leaving out the obvious and (what I feel are) the most important aspects (to me)
-95F because we are not used to those (I know which temps some of you have to endure);)

Would you mind it if I added “tosh and twaddle” to my literary vocabulary? I feel as though I had read it before but alas, it may be new to me after all and I do like it!
    Dickens perhaps...dunno.

Of course not, Bobby, but you're not telling me that you can pick up words from me of all people, are you? :) (I have a hunch you are not particularly fond of emojis.)
