    Good luck with that!

    My friends, I am at the moment caught up in a whole new world of experience with limited time, so am just opening this with little more.

    During the past month I have had 2 chest x-rays, 2 abdominals, chest and abdominal CT scans, 2 Echocardiograms, 3 of these procedures since Tuesday (it now is Thursday).

    I will elaborate next time. Safe to say for now, in three days time I have become acquainted with the hospital atmosphere, for the first time in 77 years, and it has done the same about me.

    Hoping you are all well.

    @Frank Sanoica, I pray that everything will turn out well for you. Hospitals are not pleasant, and the reasons for being there are unlikely to be either. Get well, soon.

    @Holly Saunders

    Yes. Shortness of breath upon minor effort, like walking, noticed ~6 wks. ago. Legs swole up like tree stumps over following week or so, stomach very bloated, turned out to be filled with liquid, like legs. Wife was then away in Indiana then. Never any chest pain. Suspected liver trouble, studied up as much as possible, went to dr., had chest x-ray, OK. Blood workup, liver function normal, kidneys normal, cell counts normal.

    Then abdominal x-ray, indicated liquid (ascites), no masses (tumor). Began diuretics, had an an echocardiogram done. Very slow improvement; after a week more, I took myself to the ER. ER did 2 CT scans, negative results. They determined A-fib, said I COULD go home, recommended I check in for further work. That was Tuesday, today is Friday, ready to be discharged, stabbed full of needle holes, at least 40+, exact causes still a pickle-stab.......

    I will be writing more later.......

    I am glad to hear that you are able to go home, @Frank Sanoica . I have had a-fib and CHF for around 20 years, and it is no fun to not be able to breathe and walk around like you want to do.
    If they are able to control it with medication , you should be able to do more things again, although I still can’t do anywhere near as much as I was able to do before the heart problems,
    Keep us updated on how things are going for you !

    Well Frank, you and I have had our up’s and down’s but the fact of the matter is that I NEVER want to see you down. Whatever it is, I know you can beat it but that said,
    I do pray (yes, you’re on my list) that whatever the problem is, that they will find it quickly and you can get back on the road to being ornery. :)

    @Frank Sanoica. I'm sending prayers your way too that you will be able to get your health problems under control and be able to get back to living your life instead of spending it taking medical tests so often and in and out of medical establishments. Since my Breast Cancer diagnosis this past March...I have experienced what you are experiencing and honestly I hate it!
