I have noticed that there are so many herbal treatments in the market but mostly have that label - no approved therapeutic claims - which means their efficacy is not guaranteed. But in fairness to herbal, there are some plants that have passed the test of the Food and Drug Agency that they are not being prescribed by doctors.

From the lagundi plant of which leaves can be a good treatment for fever and infections up to Sambong of which leaves can be boiled to melt kidney stones, the soursop or guyubano plant is good for diabetes. The leaves can be boiled like a tea and drank every day. Soursop is actually a tree that is common in tropical countries and the fruit is a good dessert.
