Over 100,000 people have died. Even if you say a third of them didn't die from COVID-19, that still leaves over 75,000 people, ........ not cold hard numbers but real, warm blooded, loving, laughing, crying, working people. It seems rather blase' to just brush them off as if they don't matter.

I may be a sheep but I'd rather be a live sheep than a dead goat. Anytime.

I won't argue numbers since we learned they're fake anyhow.

Can you prove that beyond a doubt? How?

If a third died from other causes, that would leave 66,667, NOT 75,000, Shirley my dear.

Thanks, Sweetie. ;):) I realized that but too late to go back and change it. I should have said ¼ of them. I guess I had a brain fart. :)

Shirley....I'm glad you're taking my correction in good grace...perhaps we should meet for an absinthe sometime?

:eek::eek::eek: Are you trying to get me drunk?????:):):):):)

    What is Absinthe’s Alcohol Content?
The exact alcohol content of absinthe depends on which brand you go with, but most have between 45–75% alcohol by volume, or are 80-150 proof.

It's now three months that I haven't left the house/yard. I also don't believe I've worn shoes in all that time. :D Good heavens.

Lock down makes sense. Corvid 19 is a new virus. Unsubstantiated claims of a cure round the corner have cost many lives, Here in Briton we haven't worn masks because they give little protection against catching the disease but it restricts you giving it to someone else. Even with my limited intelligence this means I'm less likely to get your bug. The thing is that taking sensible precautions will allow time for research to understand the beast. An example is the latest discovery that an old steroid is cutting deaths by a third in serious cases and would have saved thousands of lives. Also it's not just us oldies who are suffering. We have a number of younger patients who have serious heath problems that may last for years, so wear a mask and practise social distancing, it may allow you to benefit from a vaccine.
