They shouldn't be there due to the non-call on the interference. Referred to by many as the worst call in football history due to the consequences.
Ya might know. I haven’t watched the NFL in about 3 years even though I have always been a Saints fan since their conception.. I was at the gym and in between sets when I looked up at one of the many flat screens on the walls and which play did I see? I do hope that referee spends his money on A.D.D. prevention products and a good set of glasses. I didn’t see the rest because I was working out but why oh why wasn’t the play called back after a review? Another question is that according to the NFL rules, the whole game can be replayed or a scrimmage can be set at the point of interference so why haven’t the Saints called for the replay?
Our Saints know who really won that game...and it wasn't the Rams. We are good sports though and will only hold it against the Ref who did not make the call on pass interference. And if I was him I would not come to Saints land....we know how to make you disappear without leaving any evidence.
Many of the commentators were calling for a replay of the game, or at least the final quarter, but the current commissioner does not have much courage. That is why the "kneeling" became such a controversial issue. I don't think there is a review of a penalty call or non-call, but the entire game can be replayed, and apparently that is what the extra weekend is for between the final playoff and the Superbowl, to be used if there are extenuating circumstances.
