We won't be going fishing after all. I got a phone call while ago telling me that my brother who lived in Georgia died this afternoon. My heart aches. I guess we will be going to his funeral instead.
Yesterday was a sunny day, a little chilly when the sun went in but nevertheless we took the little motorboat out onto the river for an hour or 2...just me and hubs ( he was steering so I could take pics) It was very quiet , we times it just right I think..the day before the children break up for the Easter holidays, and all the city folk come down to the country for their break, it gets pretty packed .. I took a 6 minute Video to show you how relaxing it all is.. we go on the river a lot during the year ( we have a 70 foot 4 berth Narrowboat also )... but the little motorboat is quicker to take out on high days and holidays..
Where does the river eventually lead to ?? do you have some open water near by where you can actually get going ??
Holly............. I have an idea... What if WE all get together and go to you and we can then all of us enjoy the river cruise... Only problem for me is........ From Massey to get out of here is something else.. Oh well........... I tried !!!
OK Holly.. I will pack my bags and head down to the local boat launch and start paddling my kayak towards you.. I should be there in about 3 years if all goes well..
Today (Monday) I have a dentist appointment.. About 6 weeks ago I went to the dentist and had a filling done.. He was a new replacement dentist as the regular dentist is sick and this chap is young.. Really young.. The new graduates are the only dentists they can get to come up here.. Well the filling lasted only 6 weeks and fell out.. I was told by the office that I should come back and have another try at filling it again, as he is getting more experience....... I asked how long has he been practicing and was told this is his first time.... FORGET THAT !!!! I made an appointment with another dental office and I am going to see a real dentist today to take care of the problem once and for all.. When I called up the new dentists office, I asked how many years has the dentist being practicing and they told me about 25 years.. Good !!!! Meanwhile during the wait from one to the other dentist, I chipped a piece of the tooth and it is now a huge problem.. Should there be a huge problem, I will have the tooth pulled out.. End of problems forever with that tooth.. It is on top in front but farther back.. Who cares, just get rid of a problematic tooth... I will be sore for a few days but it will be all over after that..
