Actually, just today she was brought over to our house in Massey by her husband, and she went to the hairdresser with my wife for a haircut and a styling.. Yes, I also had my hair cut as well.. We then came back to our house for coffee and then we took her home (back to Espanola) where her husband had prepared supper for us all.. Extremely friendly and they called each other hon and dear.. They live in Espanola which is about 35 kms from Massey.. A complete different relationship...........
Good. I'm sure that you and Annmarie set them a good example. Your devotion to each other is obvious.
Thanks Shirley.. You are not the first person to say that.. Like you said, they see us and they would like to be as happy as we are so they decided to give it a try.. So far, they are working out just fine...
I am going to be very busy for the next couple of weeks. I'm cooking Christmas dinner for my family next Sunday and for my in-law family the Sunday after that. I have to do a lot of cleaning and getting things ready for company. I will probably put my Christmas tree up tomorrow or Monday. I haven't decided how much decorating I'm going to do. I have my Christmas floral arrangement on the kitchen table already. I get inspired to do a lot of decorating inside and outside then I remember that everything I put up has to be taken down and "Baby, it's cold outside" in January. It's hard to believe that this year has almost gone. Where has the time gone?
Take it slow and easy Shirley.. Remember haste makes waste.. don't over do it... In the event I don't see you again from now to Christmas, .... Merry Christmas..
It is beautiful but I wouldn't wanna live there. I still have roses blooming. Take a look at them in the Photos and Videos section.
Personally we love it up here.. Good clean living.. I wouldn't trade it for warm weather all year long..
We are in for some of that winter stuff starting Saturday. What I have here depends on where the line is. It could be snow or ice. I sure hope it's snow. They are saying that areas of NC just to the west of me will get up to six inches. It looks like I will have to postpone my family Christmas dinner. Dang! And I already did all that cleaning, too.
I realise you are not exactly used to and prepared for a snow storm.. Tonight up here the temperature will be -25c and the wind-chill will be -34c... Now that isn't unusual for up here but normally not till the mid winter.. s far as cleaning the house, it had to be done anyway.. As far as the food goes, tell us when you want us for dinner...…………………………… LOL
Howdy I’m back my husband has been seriously ill after he had surgery he’s still not 100% but getting there I haven’t felt like playing games with the worry of hubby being so ill after having three lots of lengthy surgery in less than two weeks.
Kate... Welcome back and I am truly sorry to hear about your husband.. Here's hoping he will get better very soon.. I can't blame you for not having an interest in the games as he is your number one priority.. if you can see yourself free to come on here, good, otherwise please keep on doing what you must.. good luck to the both of you and keep on taking care of Hubby...
Awwwww, Kate, I'm sorry to hear that he has been through all that. I'm glad he's on the mend and that you are playing the games. Our Christmas dinner has been postponed because of the snow and/or ice tonight and tomorrow. I have planned it for Dec. 30..... if it doesn't snow then. I can't stay and play tonight.
