C'mon.................... This is not funny any more............ It started snowing last evening and as of 5:00am it is still snowing heavy.. They are calling for up to 25cms of the white stuff...... WAY TOO EARLY FOR THIS NONSENSE....
cold............. still cold.............. A few nights ago we had -31c overnight.... Lots of snow.. We had over one foot of the white stuff so far.. Had the driveway cleaned twice so far... AGAIN............... Way too early for this....

I saw where it was the coldest day ever for the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. They said people were wrapped in blankets and sleeping bags and still just about freezing. I think they said it was 27 °. How does that fit in with global warming? I'd have to want to see a parade awfully bad to sit out in that kind of cold.
27f isn't warm but we up here have been having -27c for the past week... We also had about a foot of snow so far... now, compare that to what we have.... Global warming has been changed to climate change....
Leaving today (Sunday) for a few days.. Going to Sault Ste. Marie Ontario to see my orthopedic specialist for my yearly check-up on my shoulder replacements.. just an X-Ray and making sure everything is OK.. He does that every year... While there, we make it into a mini holiday and sleep over a few nights...
Saw my doctor today... He only wants to see me again in two years.. Both my shoulders are OK.. No problems..
Same with my wife who had a knee replacement.. Two years as it is excellent as well.. Now, our travels should be over for the rest of this year........... I HOPE !!! Time to enjoy the winter and the snow which we do like...
Don't laugh but that happened to me (not that bad) some years ago.. The only difference is when I opened the door, all the snow came in the house.. Now, go shovel the hallway...
Do you remember sometime ago we had staying in our house a friend that was abused by her husband ??? She spent a week with us to give her some time to reflect and to give her husband something to think about.. Well, how about I give you an update on that situation..................................... Her husband has totally reformed and is now treating her like the lady she is with love and respect... He realised that he missed her in his life and doesn't want this to happen again.. Furthermore, we have become very good friends since, with no questions asked about the time spent here.. This doesn't always work out for the best, but in this case, it did.. We felt it was worth the attempt, as she had nothing to lose.. She definitely gained......
