I will be gone for a while....................... We are leaving on Friday very early in the morning for about 2 weeks or more.. Thursday will be the last time I will post from home.. We are taking our laptop with us, so I will try in the evenings to post something.. We are off to Ottawa for a few days to see our son.. Then off to Montreal for about a week to see some relatives and friends.. Unfortunately, some of our friends are not well and this will be the last time we will see them.. In otherwords, we will be saying "Good-Bye" to them.. Then off to Quebec City for a few days where I grew up and I would like to show my wife where I lived and the history of Quebec City.. Then back to Montreal for a few more days and then back to Ottawa for one night and then back home....

Sorry, girls, it wasn't me. Maybe it will be some of my relatives and they will give m a few million. If they do, I'll send y'all a buck or two. Just 'cause we're best buddies, you know. Steve, I hope y'all have a good and a safe trip.
Thanks Shirley.. Here's hoping the weather holds up and not too much snow.. I didn't put my snow tires on yet.. I do have all seasons on now, and I do have all wheel drive with traction control.. I shouldn't have any problems....

Louise.. The winter carnival is in February.. This is still October up here.. Just a bit early.. We are going down to Montreal to say "good bye" to some of our long time friend that are dying.. This will be the last time we will see them.. We also will be visiting some that are still in good health.. An overly pleasant trip it won't be, but we will make the best of it..

Arrived in Montreal today to, .............. would you believe it, ………… SNOW !!!! It was 2c and snowing on the highway as we were driving to Montreal from Ottawa.. We are at the hotel after supper and going to get a good night's sleep as we are very tired..
snow in Montreal? and that surprised you ? LOL . Maine got snow too but its that time of the year to get snow..
Obviously the snow didn't last.. Yes it snowed but today it is raining a bit and miler.. Just damp !!!
We had a good nights sleep and we are off to see some friends this afternoon and others for supper...… Busy, busy..... I am using my wife's laptop to post while we are gone... Cold, damp, drizzling, foggy, and just a miserable day up here in Montreal..
