I asked Google Images to search a photo of myself standing with Ron Paul during one of his rallies in 2012, and the results were... Best guess for this image: senior citizen Then it showed, as visually similar images, photos of politicians, including Bernie Sanders and Benjamin Netanyahu, but not Ron Paul. I wasn't surprised that Google Images didn't recognize me but, since Ron Paul was in the US congress forever, and ran for president three times, I would have thought it might have recognized him. So I asked, who is Google calling a senior citizen - me or Ron Paul? I decided to put that to a test. I gave it a copy of a photo of me, and the results were: Best guess for this image: Ken Anderson Then it showed a bunch of photos of people named Ken Anderson (and, I think, some who are not named Ken Anderson), only one of which was me. So my conclusion is that all that it saw of Ron Paul was that he was a senior citizen and that he was probably a politician, but Google Images knew who I was -- thanks to the SENIORSonly CLUB.
