These Eye Witness Accounts By Individual surviving German Officers and Troops of what they saw and heard at Utah,Omaha, Sword Gold, Juno beaches is fascinating and chilling reading.

They tell about some of the Allied Troops use of Flame Throwers as they stormed the cliffs. I thought Flame Throwers were only used in the Pacific against the Japanese. Descriptions of hand to had combat with bayonets makes you winceWhat they thought about American, Canadian & British soldiers I found interesting.

We are generally told stories from one perspective only, so it's often valuable to be able to view events from the other side, so to speak.

I think that would be interesting. I always thought it would be interesting to watch Tora, Tora, Tora and Pearl Harbor back to back, to get both perspectives. It would make a long day of movie watching. Maybe someday when it is not fit to be outside. ALso, Iwo Jima and Flag of Our Fathers, are interesting to watch back to back. They do some of those marathons on Memorial Day and maybe Veterans Day weekends.
