And it's heart rate may approach 1200 a minute, something like 30 beats a second. Their survival rate is quite low. Though they may live several years under ideal conditions, the attrition rate in the wild is about 85% die during their first year if life.

@Frank Sanoica I also think they remember where the feeders are from one year to the next. If they get back here before I get my feeders up, they fly around the area where I put it; apparently looking for it.

There is a time capsule, which was buried in 1968 in Amarillo Texas containing the passbook to a bank account with a $10 deposit, expected to be worth $1 quadrillion when it is opened in 2968. –

Abraham Lincoln's funeral procession passed down Broadway in New York on April 25, 1865. Two small boys watched the procession from a second floor window at Fourteenth Street. They were Theodore Roosevelt, age six and a half, and his younger brother, Elliott, the future father of Eleanor Roosevelt. The boys were nephews of James D. Bulloch, the Chief of the Secret Service in Europe for the Confederate States of America.

:eek::eek: The only president who was also an executioner was Grover Cleveland. As sheriff of Erie County, New York, he hanged a murderer.

Cleveland was a big guy. He wasn’t called Big Steve, as one of his political nicknames, for nothing. At 250 pounds, he was the second-heaviest President after William Howard Taft. Fitness Magazine named him as the least-healthiest President, because of his penchant for beer drinking and cigar smoking.

I’d give up my electric/manual wheelchair for one of these. Cowboy boots, hat, and the pink western shirt too. Evertbody here in Texas has a stack of jeans.
