    Prolific! Ours is about 3 times that size, and the birds have decimated the fruits for several years. This year we spread a mesh net around the tree...... the fruit is showing up rather dry. Perhaps in response to the dry heat, the tree produces prodigious new growth with many new leaves early in the season, then after several weeks turns brown, dropping off about half of them, then growing more new ones.
