I bought a new monitor for my computer today, a horizontally long monitor that can be comfortably split into two screens. With the 27" screen that comes with my iMac, that gives me three screens that I can have open at one time. If I had a bigger desk, I could hook another elongated monitor up to it and have seven screens open at one time but, since I'm a guy, I don't multi-task that well anyhow so that would be a waste.

We use double screens when we do visual presentations in the office but I have no idea of how it's done because we have a tech do that for me. I think that would be good for my husband who sometimes makes videos. However, our home desktop is pretty antiquated already and it is not a Mac so I don't know if it can accommodate another screen. Maybe we can do that 2 monitors when we buy a new computer that is already in the offing... but definitely not a Mac, that's too expensive.
