I was positive that @Diane Lane had started a thread about this somewhere; but I can't find it to write in it, and so I am just making a new thread for it. We go to the Dollar General all of the time. the prices are about the same as they are at Walmart for most things, plus there is always lots of places to park, and not have to make your way through crowds of people (in pajamas). Yesterday, I looked Dollar General up online because I remembered (?) that it was mentioned that you could get online coupons just like Krogers has. It turns out that Dollar General has a mobile app, which I downloaded, and then filled out the information to be signed up for the digital coupons. When you shop at the dollar store, and are checking out, there is a place to add your phone number, which is your membership number, and it credits you for any coupons that you have used when shopping. Just like I do at Kroger, I loaded up everything that I thought I might possibly buy, so if I do get any of it, the coupon is there. I hate clipping coupons and having to carry them, and hardly ever remember that I have those; but the digital ones are terrific and so easy !
