Yes; we love fresh fruit and even some canned varieties such as pineapple. I also buy frozen fruit in winter (berries, etc.) We also eat a ton of fresh vegetables. I'm sad to see the summer produce dwindling down.

A banana a day keeps the potassium levels up.

Fresh fruit in season and prunes and raisins to boot. Apples will be ripening soon. An orchard up the mountain grows absolutely perfect ones you could take a picture of. In PA, seniors get four $6 vouchers to be used for locally grown produce. I used one for peaches and am saving the rest for the aforementioned apples.

I try to keep some tangerines and peaches on hand. They're the only thing Barney doesn't try to steal from me. I notice most of the fruit I get from the store is not ripened properly. They pick it all too early nowadays.

Yeah...my wife buys packages of diced Watermelon, Cantaloupe, and Honeydew Melon, either in seperate packages or in a mix. I enjoy them, and also grapes. I also have a sliced Banana with my breakfast cereal on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I have strawberries and blueberries on my morning cereal. Just ate a kiwi.

For the last 30 years of my career, I would buy cut fruit at the grocery store (melons, pineapple & grapes) on my way in to work and have it for a mid-morning snack at my desk, along with cheese. I rarely missed a day of that. Since I've retired I've not been so religious about it, but I'm not out every day where I can just go by a store and pick some up.

I would also eat a salad nearly every day at lunch and another for dinner.

I'm not getting it, John. You ate a little bird, okay, but we're talking about fruit.

You probably ate the fruit raw. Did you at least cook the poor little bird before you ate it?
