Maybe Aussie authorities mistook terriers for terrorists.

The dogs just need to go home. All of this trouble over two little dogs, keep them locked up until it is time to go home and move on.

Come on let the man have his dogs and take them home. I know he violated their customs by smuggling them in, but still keeping them locked and threatening to put them down isn't a good thing either. Make Depp pay a hefty fine then tell him to take his dogs back to the states, how hard can this be. The autorities better be careful here, if they do put these dogs down animal rights groups won't let this die down, and it could cause a major issue.

There are legitimate reasons for the law, and everyone should obey it. Movie stars are not above the law. He placed his dogs in jeopardy. They should all be sent home.

As a small island we have been rabies free since 1902 due to diligent monitoring so I can't fault Australia for wanting to protect itself from spoilt rich stars, who believe money exempts them from rules and regs

My friend's brother lived in Australia for a few years and when he first moved there he brought his cat with him. It had to spend months in quarantine before he was allowed to take it home. Johnny Depp is lucky that Australia haven't decided to quarantine his dogs for the required period before allowing them to leave.
