I even advanced our Sundial 15 degrees toward sunset!

(The earth turns on its axis 360 degrees in 24 hours, or 15 degrees per hour, don't ya know.

I think I have written before, I am waiting for them to find a way to take an hour of daylight and add it to December here. In June we have an abundance of daylight. I would like to save an hour then and spend it in December.

Also, a good way to remember pi is: "May I have a large container of coffee" (count the letters in each word, keeping in order, and you get pi to be 3.1415926, approx)

Supposedly this time switcher roo is a thing of the past for Wa., Or., and Ca. The current time will be year-round starting this fall and all the phony-baloney about the gift and theft of time and environmental benefits will go down the privy hole piled high with past liberal excrement.

I guess it may go down the hole for us in Alaska too, as the justification used for DST here is to keep the relationship with Seattle the same time-wise. I haven't heard about it, however.

Senate votes to make daylight saving time permanent
Teaganne Finn and Frank Thorp V
    Tue, March 15, 2022, 2:33 PM

WASHINGTON — The Senate approved legislation Tuesday that would make daylight saving time permanent in the U.S. starting next year.

The bill, called The Sunshine Protection Act, was passed by unanimous consent, meaning no senators opposed it. If it is enacted, Americans would no longer need to change their clocks twice a year.

“We got it past the Senate, and now the clock is ticking to get the job done so we never have to switch our clocks again,” Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., said on the Senate floor. “So I urge my colleagues in the House to act as swiftly as the Senate — let’s get this bill on President Biden’s desk and deliver more sunshine to Americans across the country.”

My spidey senses tell me that must be a joke. It makes too much sense for politicians. :)

I'm sure Pelosi will try to kill it in the House.

...because we only got another 9 months before it changes back.

With everything else that's going on, I'm actually insulted they would do this.

    Citizens: "The nation's on fire!!!"
Congress: "We're finally mopping the floor from that spill we made 55 years ago! Ya' gonna thank us?"

    The Sunshine Protection Act?
I’m sure the greenies like AOC are all behind it without reading the actual bill.
“Just think, we’ll get one more hour of sunshine so our solar panels can make more clean energy”.

Or……”We have to do everything we can to protect our sunshine”. “If we keep going the way we are we won’t have any more sunshine in 12 years”.

Or……”Let’s propose a 100 trillion dollar piece of legislation that will keep our sunshine clean”.

I think they mean they're gonna shield their behaviour from the light of day.

I thought the clock batteries had retired again. It took me two hours of sitting here before I realized they sneaked in the time change without a word on local or national news. Keeping a very close watch on the 2022 F1 season, there is no news of the two races that were scheduled in the Arab world. They might have been canceled far as I know. First televised race is coming Sunday afternoon, usually around 7am in central time but it depends what part of the world they race that particular calendar day and this Sunday race is several hours later. I think there are new car regulations and physical changes to wings this season. I sure hope so, I'm tired of seeing Mercedes winning just because they have that two to three mile per hour edge with their rear wing automated ever so slightly on the long straight a ways.
