I think quite a few of us on here have some of those "dim moments" every once in awhile Patsy.
Yep - 'silly goose'
Hope you didn't mind me doing the honours Holly, you may not have been back till morrow
Well I know I do - and I'm sure I'm not alone
it's the word with an A.... and it really doesn't mean the same thing here as it does in the USA
I agree that can't is a terrible word that should never ever be used.
Okay, I understand now...didn't think twit was so bad, lol.
That hurts my eyes!
"Can't" you see the word?
I can see it ...just hurts my eyes or head or something.
Weird, isn't it? @Chrissy Cross Like those pictures where you hold it close to your eyes and see a picture within a picture.
I bet @Ike Willis would have really had some stories to tell us about cussing. Sure do miss that man.
Do you know there actually is now a popular rock group named "Anal C*nts"?
Seriously! Is this a good example of the deterioration of decency, or what?
Well it's definitely a good example of cussing @Frank Sanoica.
I conclude that this thread is incredible!
For all of us.
Well where is he?
Well @Bill Boggs I can't say for sure until I get there myself....but I believe Ike Willis is waiting for all the rest of us to join him one day in Heaven. He passed away awhile back and we all miss him dearly.
I miss him too..and all his stories... ...but please God he's waiting a long time to meet me yet...
How did you know this? I am so upset at learning this. I was reading his stories.
It's in this thread.
Thank you, Ken.
@Bill Boggs I'm just sitting this now so I'm glad Ken was able link you to where you needed to go to find out about Ike Willis. We all were really upset to learn of his passing and miss him alot. We are thankful though that through his many posts here at SeniorsOnly Ike lives on for us.
I hope you are okay Bill.
It goes to show us our parents and us are just human, so don't be too hard on yourself. Oh yes, on last thing, children are just human too. I believe that if we know we are just human, able to have feelings too, but sometimes life's little jabs of life, gets the better of us. You know what, my Mom 4 days before she passed finally said to me, I know you'll be alright, you know what you're doing. Mother's job is I guess never done. I miss her dearly and know as my cousin reminds me is in a better place now. I know it's difficult bringing up children for you want the best for them, and want them to be very good...but we are all just human.
