It was your idea @Kate Ellery.. you have lost it my fellow Aussie It only needs one silly post to derail these stories. The PLOT: We five/four seniors are fed up with being cooped up in our nursing home so we run away for a few days to catch up with life as we once knew it. It is Easter so we can implement that into the story. We want to do some adventurous things while we are on the run. Shirley suggested we go to a circus.. I an amusement park. You wanted to play pokies. We can play the rest by ear.. improvise. That is the beauty of these stories in that there is no set script.
Go ahead see if you can add some life into story Craig ..after we’ve had a big feast at @Steve North place see what we get up,to after we have a full belly ...unless we need a nap after eating
We need Shirley to add the faces to our characters as she is a clever southern Lula Belle. Ok the story continues. With full bellies from a feast at Steve's place of grilled fish and fries and Lula Belles' delish cherry pie the Ridgeway Five head off for some fun. We are tossing up whether to drive to the Coney Island Amusement Park about 10 miles from Steve's place or head further inland where there is a circus that has just hit town. Luckily Steve found some money hidden back of a sofa so we now have sufficient to enjoy a day watching clowns or going on fairground rides. So what is it to be my friends. Fairground or circus......................
