Then I can raise our nostalgic, beautiful 48-Star flag on high!
Here's a picture of Judy with our historic flag which I had made up by a Flagmaker.

Do you have any flag pole restrictions in your neighborhood?

I'm well off the paved road where no one can see, so can do as I please...but only I would see it.

If you live in California, would displaying the flag be legal? Some could find it offensive.

There are several people on our block who display flags...some from poles.

We display ours on every National holiday.

Besides, we talked it over and realized that we should have installed a flag pole when we moved up here 22 years ago, so we dropped the idea.

Good one, Ed. :D Maybe Hal will fly the Mexican flag to avoid any possible repercussions.

Why would there be repercussions, Beth?

We're all Americans who fly only the flag of our Country.

The population of California is now one-half Hispanic, but I'll continue flying the flag of MY country, baby!

And I won't include any smileys in this post!

It was sarcasm, Hal. Based on the liberal BS that seems to permeate California. (And I wish the escapees from there would stop polluting Texas.)

I saw some flags displayed this weekend that have the Rebel flag on the outer edge and NC in dark blue on the side that goes toward the pole. This was on private property, of course.

    Sort of like this one.

Those who are fleeing California to settle in more conservative states are doing so to GET AWAY FROM California's "Sanctuary Cities", which the state's Democrats are preserving for the leftists, illegals, and other Liberal scum that has been encroaching on us!

I won't move because our High Desert people are Conservatives for the most part, and I own my own property.

Sadly, that is not the case. Austin has been overrun by CA refugees, who all seem to have brought their liberal propaganda with them. UGH. (Likewise Dallas, Houston, etc.)

I didn't know that, Beth...I assumed they were all Conservatives who wished to escape California's liberal trash.

I'm just spouting off, Hal. I have no way of knowing the political leanings of any new Texas residents. :D It just seems that the larger Texas cities are a popular landing spot and they have all become liberal strongholds in the state. "Sanctuary Cities" make me irritable.

Hal, Yes you need a tall flag pole but only if it has a large eagle on top that has an omnidirectional camera in it.

Whatever kind of optical system would give you an omnidirectional viewpoint, Lady Faye?
