I lead a fairly boring life and that's just fine with me. Boring means peaceful and low stress which suits me fine. The previous 30 odd years were roller coaster and enough to drive a saint to drink. I'm not lonely and have plenty to keep me occupied.

Compared to a number of us here, you are still a youngster! Thus, use prudence and tact as you meander the future.....remember, you have 30 years not yet experienced, 30 behind you for good!

Jane is the same age as me....I'd like to think I had another 30 years to go ( with good health) but I doubt it...

I don`t get your point Frank. I have 63 years behind me and who knows how many ahead of me. My future seems just fine to me as long as my health doesn`t get worse. I have a roof over my head and enough to pay the bills and put food on the table. Compared to the majority of the world`s population I`m rich.

My point was, you mentioned 30 bad years being behind you, and I thought looking forward to 30 good ones might prove encouraging for you.

As usual, I mess up often.
