I happened to see this movie because I was looking for many of Andrew Klavan's work. He wrote many books and screenplays. True Crime, 1999, an American mystery drama directed and acted by Clint Eastwood. The film was based on the novel of Andrew Klavan's novel in 1995. Eastwood also stars in the film as a journalist, Steve Everette, covering the execution of a death row inmate, only to discover that the convict may actually be innocent. I recommend True Crime highly. Then, next, Don't Say a Word, 2001, one of Andrew Klavan's novels. The hero Michael Douglas as Nathan R. Conrad, a Manhattan child psychiatrist.
You had me sold when you named Clint Eastwood. I'm a huge fan of that man! I have always thought his work on camera, as well as behind the camera, is amazing. I'm going to have to check it out. Being from Clint, as long as it isn't like "Million Dollar baby", I'm sure I'll love it!
