I use very little cleaning supplies. For years have used Simple Green on almost everything. Diluted lasts me a year or two. SG and magic erasers are my favorites.
I will use hydrogen peroxide as a disenfecant many times...or some Lysol wipes for remotes, light switches and other small items.
Mold forms in one bathroom and I constantly use a towel and fan to dry out the walls.I have tried everything imaginable to get rid of it...or even keep it a bay...but nothing works. I was told recently to use oven cleaner but to only let it set no more than 5 mintues. Have not tried that yet.
Cleaning the bath tubs is the hardest thing on my old bones to do..so once a month is it.Mopping is second.
How and with what do you use to get rid of the dirt and etc in your place ?

I love Simple Green. It's good for pretty much anything. My wife is mad about Magic Erasers.

I love magic erasers for certain things...with other cleaning stuff I vary but always have Windex. Also some type of Lysol cleaner for bathrooms and kitchen.

For one toilet I need a pumice stone to get rid of the ring and it takes lot of scrubbing even with that but at least it works.

I also use unscented baby wipes for things like my white doors around the handles or baseboards...it doesn't remove the paint.

My favorite cleaning resource, however, is a wife with ambition.

Sometimes I think I would like a wife like that. :)

Not saying I'm gay but at this point in life I think I'd rather have a wife than a husband.

Oh, I didn't mean to say that I "have" a wife with the ambition to clean, only that this would be my favorite cleaning resource. As it is, I do laundry and the dishes, most often, and I clean my own office (at least once every couple of years).

Ha ha...yes, pics of your office do show that you must clean it every couple of years.;)

I still would like a wife though, lol.

I just read an article earlier this morning that said using full strength hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle on mold will get rid of it really well. Did you try that Gloria?

When we had the tornadoes here in 2011 that took the roof off of our house, we had to wait until the landlord could get a crew to repair the roof and then replace the carpet where the rain had poured through and soaked it. Since everyone was trying to get something repaired, and especially roofs, it took a while before he could secure a roofing crew. After they took out the old carpet, the wood floor underneath was getting moldy. I used white vinegar (straight) and put it in a spray bottle, and we sprayed the floor several times a day until the vinegar had killed all of the mold. I do not know if this would work with the mold you are trying to kill, @Gloria Mitchell , but if you have not tried it, the white vinegar is worth at least giving it a shot. It is cheap and easy to do, to see if it will work.

@Gloria Mitchell , if you use oven cleaner, be very careful. Test it on a very small area first. Don't use it at all unless you have ceramic tile.

I used to pour baking Soda and vinegar down my clogged garbage disposal and it worked for awhile but eventually I needed it replaced.

We have a young gal that comes in once a week on Mondays and cleans the kitchen and bathroom and sweep and mops (hardwood floors throughout). I don't know what we use but I did notice the wife spent $35.20 at the grocery market last trip. In between I keep the kitchen up, the dishes done, my office where I can get in it, in between Mondays.

I have a young woman every two weeks to clean my two bed two bath apartment. She selected the cleaning supplies which I paid for and they stay in my apartment in between visits. She is here for60 to 90 minutes and the places sparkles when she is through. I am a pretty tidy guy my nature and don't leave big messes for her to clean up. The only day I don't make the bed myself is on her cleaning day.

I use this for cleaning all wet areas in the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry including the tiled floors
I can't handle fumes from harsh cleaning products , this cleaner is good,it's the best tile grout cleaner I've found ...my white bathroom wall grout is still,as white as it was when we had the house built 11 years ago by using this product
