Let's put it all together and we get...potatoes are white like some chicken are white:

    Some like eggs scrambled:

Depending on how I feel I like it easy over or other times scrambled. I love my eggs mostly easy over. Funny though can't make my easy over eggs like the restaurants do. Guess everything tastes better when someone else cooks your meals.

In the olden days, my husband's family had a small poultry of 50 chickens that they raise for food. They also have some "layers" for the eggs. But now it is not feasible to have a small poultry because of ordinances prohibiting that. But for a pet, I don't think it is also feasible for us because a pet is a pet and cannot be considered for food. Some 2 years ago, we had a pet pigeon that lived inside our house. It had laid more than a hundred eggs that we did not even taste because we treated those eggs as offspring of our pet. Obviously that also applies to chickens in case we have one for a pet.

The other day, my wife produced a round pan with sides about three inches high, with an insert which sat on top, held in place by a lip. It had cup-shaped indentations in it, about 1-inch deep, and some wide slots between the cups.

First time I laid eyes on it, the cups had white stuff sitting in them, just finished cooking. The thing is a small "double-boiler", as my Mother would have called it, and the eggs were poached to absolute perfection! Superb taste surpassing hard-boiled in water!
